Speaker Bios

 
Leah Juliett (L. Juliett) is an unapologetic nonbinary queer activist, poet, university student and performer from the Greater New York area. Their activism primarily focuses on LGBTQIA+ discrimination, politics, and cyber civil rights. Leah is the founder of The March Against Revenge Porn.
 
John Lesch, J.D., represents St. Paul District 66B in the MN House. John has rallied to increase access to justice through the courts and sponsored the Minnesota Revenge Porn bill that was enacted into law in 2017.  He is member of the MN National Guard, former prosecutor, and criminal defense attorney.
 
John Riemer, J.D., is a veteran attorney in the Ramsey County Public Defender's Office.  He has represented individuals charged with serious felonies including homicide, criminal sexual conduct and revenge porn, to name a few.  In addition to his legal advocacy, he has been an instructor at the University of MN Law School and Hamline University School of Law Innocence Clinic.
